We are currently running a single domain with several
subnets and would like to know if we have to configure a
subnet under Sites and Services? Our domain controllers
are all located on a single subnet.

No you don't, Sites are available in the case you need to "control the
replication" between your physical subnets accross WAN links, for example.
The local physical layout / subnetting you describe is transparent to the
logical domain.

I disagree.

Subnets are used in dynamic DNS registration... the system logs will fill up
with lots of crap without subnets configured...

Who said NOT to configure subnets? And what does this have to do with the
issue at hand: Sites and replication?

Who said anything about replication? Certainly, the OP didnt.

The defaul site has to be configured, and a subnet created for it. The OP
asked about whether to configure a site under sites and services. You told
him he didnt need to. Subnets do much more than just fascilitate
replication.

Crank the attitude down a bit there SP, your level of knowledge and
expertise do not appear to be able to compensate for it.

Yes he did, that's what a site manages. In other words, his question is
"i've got subnets, do i need new Sites?"

Incorrect since the def First Site is already configured and its existence
is transparent to physical subnets.

Subnets have absolutely nothing to do with replication. Why configure a site
when the default is already there?

Not a bad comment coming from somene that doesn't understand the difference
between a site and a subnet.
