Hi

After working for months without any problem, one of our server can no
longer synchronize its AD information. The server is located in a separate
location and a separate site has been built in AD to relect this. When I try
manually to force the server to synchronize with its replication partner, the
following error occurs:

"There was an error during queuing the synchronization. The error code was:
ERROR_REPLICA_SYNC_FAILED THE REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL FAILED"

Nicolas,

So, you have one Active Directory environment.
You have created multiple Subnets in the Active Directory Sites and Services
and then associated each Subnet with the correct Site.
Until just recently, everything worked perfectly.

Have you:

installed the Support Tools from the WIN2000 Service Pack CD-Media on all of
your Domain Controllers ( well, one would be sufficient now )?
run dcdiag /e /v against that Domain Controller?
used repadmin and replmon to take a look at your topology?
checked DNS? when you get a 'Remote Procedure Call failed' error it could
be due to DNS.....or a network problem......
tried pinging that remote Domain Controller via IP Address? via NetBIOS
Name? via FQDN?

Did

anything change on the Firewalls? I am assuming that you have a
Site-to-Site VPN.....
any of the services end - for whatever reason - on the remote Domain
Controller?
