I followed the instructions for the web component site search, and have FP
extensions installed. But any word in the search box goes to an internal
error page. Can anyone help? Thanks!

If running on a Windows Server did you (or you host) create an Index catalog in IIS and set the search to use it

No, I didn't see that anywhere in the instructions. Shouldn't FP include this
important info in their help file?

Could you please tell me the exact wording I would use when makint this
request to my host?

Thank you Stefan!

Tom,

Thank you very much for your attention and help. I have a good understanding
of FP and the Internet and was surprised that the documentation about site
search was non existent within the program, and the implemetation was beyond
even an intermediate user. I will find another solution, less complicated,
for my site search needs. When MS has a comprehensive (and even basic) guide
to using its products, what a wonderful world it will be. :-)

FYI: The search engine is part of Windows OS, not FP. FP just provides a component that will use it,
if the web host has it installed, running, etc.
