site navigation bar doesn't display

When I view certain websites with frontpage navigation
bars, the navigationbars don't display in my browser.
This is the case with www.carlsonsw.com.

www.carlsonsw.com. worked fine for me. I did notice that there are also
navigation buttons at the bottom of each page on the site and also the
button menu on the left hand side. If you were using those buttons sometimes
and then using IEs' back and forward buttons at other times then the
navigation History may have become lost.
This is probably a bad design for a site as one set of navigation buttons
allows you to jump here and there (the button menu) while the Next and
Previous buttons on the bottom of the pages follow the site map and move
through the pages sequentially.
