Hi,
Our student intern created our site:www.theartfuldiva.com. However, I need
to be able to cross refeerence items within the site: I need to have a top,
for example, appear under tops and also under the designer's name. The site
has no navigation diagram. I tried to drag and drop files into the navigation
view and now one of the files I did this to has 83 links. I know I have not
done this correctly, and I know there must be a way to create a Nav view so I
can tweak this thing.
My student intern has ended her stint here & is in love. Which explains why
I am not likely to get too far with my request from her! When I asked her
about the navigational view, she said she did not use it. I am hoping to be
able to fix the cross reference problem without starting over.
Thanks

Since the site was not create via FP's navigation component, you would have to delete the current
navigation structure and create entirely new one based on FP's navigation component.

By not using the FP navigation components, the designer avoided the limitations of working with FP
navigation components..

:
When I click on Navigation at the bottom of the screen, all I see is one page.
Do you mean I must delete all the links and start over?
And, with the reference to the limitations of FP's navigation components,
is it a good idea or not?
I used FP in the original version...2000 and I was hoping to have a simple
solution. If i do not delete the nav structure, how do I find the info
necessary to fix the site?
Thanks

If you only see one page in navigation view, then there is no FP navigation in the site.

You will have to build your navigation from scratch, which means you will have to delete any current
navigation if you want to use FP navigation component/view plus you will have then use either FP
Shared Borders or FP Link bars, etc.
