Greetings,
There ia a bug in Internet Explorer that could cause people a lot of
trouble... I came across a website that disables the paste command
(including the shortcut Ctrl + V). The only way I have found to regain
functionality is to "X" off the page... simply going back to the
previous webpage does not reactivate the paste command. It took me a
little while to locate the source of the problem in part because I use
the tabbed Avant Browser (which utilizes IE) and I had many pages open
and figuring out which one was the culprit took a little time. I
don't know if the problem exists with other browsers like Mozilla or
Firefox... maybe someone could check it out.
The web site that disables the paste command is
http://www.enoch.sofiatopia.org/enoch.htm
I also came across a site sometime ago that caused my monitor to
rapidly turn on and off, but because it was so harsh on my monitor I
just got off of it, never to return, although I wish I had recorded the
site... I tried it on two different computers and it had the same
effect on both machines. Has anyone else ever encountered such a thing?
