I developed a small site in FP2000 for a client who wants
to be able to update the site herself. She ordered and
installed FP2002 to use to edit the site. When I open the
site in FP2002, the only things that displays in the edit
window are the shared borders. I have a top and bottom
border set.

When I open the file with a text editor, like notepad, it
shows that the page content is actually there.

If I remove the shared borders in FP2000, save the page,
then open the page in FP2002, the page content is there.
Great! I though I had the answer. I just reapplied the
borders in FP2002 and away we go. Not. As soon as I save
the file and reopen it, I have the original problem.

What do I need to do to be able to open a web in FP2002
that was developed in FP2000 with shared borders?

This would indicate a coding problem with the original site, as all you need
to do is open the site in FP2002, there is nothing extra needed or
available.

OK-- any idea what kind of coding error I should be
looking for? I am not using FrontPage extensions. The
only FrontPage components I'm using are shared borders
and in-page navigation bars.

You would need to provide a URL, so that someone can look at the source.
