Site causes window to close?

Ive got Win XP (SP1), and when i try to go on some sites,
the browser window will close and will also close all
other browser windows i have open, but no error message
appears

please help
 
scan for virus free antivirus at grisoft.com
scan for spywares
spybot safer-networking.org
ad-aware lavasoftusa.com
update both before scan and they are free
some bugs and nastys don't want you visiting certain sites.
mostly antivirus sites.
 
Ive tried AVG, spybot and just tried ad-ware but they
dont get rid of wotever is closing the browser windows,
any other ideas?
 
I have the exact same problem.

A site like www.hpphoto.com will cause all the windows to close. No error
message, no nothing!

It's VERY annoying, can someone help?
I've scanned and triple scanned for viruses (Norton, Stinger, you name it)
and came up empty.
