I just installed Win2000 Pro on an IBM NetVista. Windows 98 was the
installed previously and is still available. Problem is the sound doesn't
work. I've tried upgrading drivers for the 630 hardware (which is what Win
98 sez is installed, and the 7120 drivers, which is what W2K thinks is
installed), but neither work.
MS Support sez to check out IRQ's, DMA's and IO addresses. Media player
(latest win2K install) says there's a problem with the setup.
Am at loss for what to do next. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. TIA George.
