Hello:

I found that one of the existing AD was using single label. Does any
best way to change it without impact to workstation?

Thanks a lot!

Hello Blue,

I forget totally to ask, which OS do you use?

Best regards

Hello Blue,

The domain rename operation is supported within an Active Directory forest
if, and only if, all domain controllers in the forest are running Windows
Server 2003 Standard Edition, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, or
Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition, and the forest functionality has
been raised to Windows Server 2003 or higher. Therefore, before you can rename
a domain in your Active Directory forest, you must ensure that the forest
functionality has been raised to at least Windows Server 2003.

So to use it you must upgrade the 2000 DC's and change to Windows Server
2003 mode.

If you have additional hardware in space you can also try ADMT v3:

Hi Meinwolf,

I just wanted to add for the original poster, there may be some additional
tasks if Exchange is already installed in the organization.

I can fully understand! I just moved up to Ex2007 on my own private system.
Nice product, but it will be nicer once SP1 rolls out next month.
