Hello,
I have the external connector (that came with the motherboard) plugged into
two of the four Silican Image Sata ports on the motherboard. I have just
connected a single Seagate Sata drive to one of the external ports and, as
yet, has not been recognised by WinXP. During the boot process the Silican
Image Raid Bios appears, and when I hit F4, I can see that the drive is
recognised by this Raid bios.
Should I be using a specific Silican Image driver for single drives?
I recall I installed all the nvisia chipset and (from what I recall) any
drivers that referred to the Silican Image chipset.
Thanks,
Shane
