Single Document Interface - It's a killer for me.

Hi,

I work for a small company that provides middle and high school level
curriculum to teach the use of Office products to solve real world problems.
Our product launches the Office application to run in a window next to
instructions we provide. We have done this successfully with Word, Excel and
Access.

However, in FrontPage 2002 if a student starts a new file, it opens a new
instance of the application. This is a big problem for our curriculum. The
novice student loses track of which window they are working in and it cause
all sorts of problems.

I am wondering if there is a way to make the FrontPage application behave
like Word or Excel in reference to SDI?

I certainly don't understand the in's and out's of the issue - I'm just
looking for some basic information or resources I can pass on to our
programmers.

Any suggestions?

Thank much,
Mary S.

NOTE: Because the Single Document Interface is a new design feature of
FrontPage 2000, it cannot be turned off.

Explain
How are you opening FP
For each web opened by FP a new instance of FP is opened since FP is a web based tool
