I've been actively using XP shortly after it came out, and have been using
FrontPage about the same time.

Within the past 3 years, I have been using the FTP feature to upload my
website information. I haven't been updating as frequently as I use to,
however, since the SP3 update, everytime that I open my index page (which
hasn't changed) a message comes up stating that I need a converter to view
everything properly.

When I click to install the converter, it requests for the MS XP w/ FP disc.
I received FP with XP in my Windows XP Professional packet. It keeps
looking for proplus.msi. I've been trying/searching all over the internet
for info about this proplus.msi, but I haven't figured out how to install
this needed device.

When I tried to FTP my website, it messed up my index file...now it looks bad.

If anyone has any info on what to do, I'd greatly appreciate it.

(suppose to look like)

forgot to mention....

Now I can't even connect to my FTP (geocities.com) It just does a hang time
and errors out. Very frustrating when you have an informational page to
provide...

thanks for any help

Uninstall SP3 (or do a system restore) and see if that reolves the problem -
then you you that the SP3 is the problem.

I actually thought SP3 was specifically for Office 2003 family of products
including FP 2003., not for Office XP (2002) or versions below Office
2003/FP 2003.

If there is a Service Pack for FP 2002, are you sure you've downloaded the
correct one? Windows Update should obviously scan your machine and give you
the correct files....but you never know.
