Since upgrading to Outlook 2003, my wife and I cannot
access e-mail addresses when sending mail.
Our "contacts" folders are intact, but we cannot access
them while sending mail.
When I press the "To..." button, I first get this error
message: "The address list could not be displayed. The
Contacts folder associated with this address list could
not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you
do not have permissions. For information on how to remove
this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft
Outlook Help."
When I respond "OK", I see an empty "Select Names" dialog
box. The "Show Names from the:" drop list defaults
to "Contacts", but the drop list contains
two "Contacts". When I select the other one, the problem
is fixed. However, I don't know how to make the fix
permanent.
