In order to do customer support, I often do dial-up connections to
customer's systems. Sometimes it is a RAS connection. Sometimes its
a PPP connection via a terminal server. But, the bottom line is, I
only want traffic for the subnet of the dial-up to go to the dial-up
connection. But whenever I do this, what actually happens is,
Internet traffic tries to go through the dial up connection. I figure
there should be a simple route command or something to take care of
this. Any suggestions?

Uncheck "Use default gateway on remote network" from the Advanced TCP/IP
settings of the dial-up connection

If you are using dial up vpn check the connectoid in
properties/networking/tcp/ip/properties/advanced and uncheck use remote
default gateway. --- Steve
