I've been using FreeRAM XP Pro for the past few days, not sure that it
does any good, but I kinda like it. Have it set to automatically free
RAM with Windows startup. One thing, though: Under Other settings it
has a default option to "automatically check for updates
periodically". Affter I installed FreeRAM, I kept finding that my
system had come out of standby on its own. Things normalized after I
removed the update option.
