Sims not starting

I start sims and it starts out fine...it goes through the intro video and
then it'll say calibrating personality matrix and the last one: adjusting
emotional weights, but then it returns to my desktop. It says something about
my cpu speed not being enough. How do I improve it?

That message would indicate that your PC's Processor (CPU) is not
fast enough to run that game. Here's a list of system requirements:
