I keep getting a "component transfer error". I have gone
to EA.com and followed their instructions to the letter.
I am running XP home, 512m ram. Windows is updated, all
drivers are current. This is the only program that I have
a problem with. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
PJ

No one out there has a suggestion? I am open to any ideas
at this point. Even tried changing compatability.

Thanks,
PJ

Hi PJ,

That error usually indicates corrupt media... Check both the CD
and the CD Player. Clean both using a Cleaning Kit, and check for
scratches on the CD. Try installing the game on another computer,
if the game installs, your most likely culprit is your CD ROM drive,
otherwise it's the CD, in which case you need to contact the vendor
for replacement: http://techchat.ea.com:4080/chat/world/html/start.html
