I'm a little rusty at this, but see if this helps.
Right click the server in the RRAS snap-in, and under one
of the tabs there will be a check box for "IP routing
enabled". Make sure this is ticked. If the box is not
ticked the remote user will only be allowed to access the
RRAS server, and not beyond.
You may have to search for this, as I say, I'm a little
rusty and have no RRAS installed on my system to check.

Paul

The remote user always get subnet of 255.255.255.255. It's how PPP protocol
works. However that is not the issue.
Can you do net use * \\<ipaddress>\C$ to any machine behind the vpn server
using domain credentials and see if it's succeeding or failing. If it's
failing what is the error.

Yes.
However, I have noticed that the subnet being applied
to the remote user
is
different than the subnet set by the Linksys DHCP
server. Could that be
the
issue? How can I change that?
Thanks!

Does the remote access user have permissions for the domain resources?

I am trying to set up a RAS Dial-Up access for a single remote XP user
on
a
W2K Domain controller. I have one modem and one
NIC in the DC. I use
a
Linksys router as my DHCP server. Is there a
simple way to do this
and
allow the remote user access to the domain? I have gone through the
wizard
on the Remote Access and Routing panel, and I am able to connect, but
not
access any domain resources.
Thanks!
