Simple Question

I was on a web pasge, right clicked (curser happened to be on a banner) and
selected "Set As Desktop Item" (by mistake instead of "Create Shortcut").
The banner is now a "permenant" fixture on my desktop and I can't figure out
how to remove it. Can someone please advise. Thx. garth

Control Panel>Display>Desktop tab. Click on Customize Desktop, and then
click on the Web tab. You will see that there are checkmarks next to "My
Current Home Page" and probably "Lock Desktop Items". Uncheck these.

Click Apply and OK out when you've made your changes.
