Simple question: copy from HD to DVD

This is a simple problem but I can't seem to find the answer.

I have the Sony DRU-510A and I have a directory with 15GB that I want
to copy to multiple DVDs. Later I will copy them back to another
computer.

The backup software that comes with the burner seems to only do a
'system' backup, i.e., it will only restore the files to the original
computer. It also saves the data in a different format, and I just
want to store the original directory structure, even if it is
dispersed on 4 or more DVDs.

So basically I want to do something like "copy c:\directory d:."
and insert new disks when the current is full.

Any ideas?

What software are you using to burn the DVD?
Isn't there an easy way to just copy the files to the DVD?
If you want to make it really easy, just make a folder on your HD of
any name you want with a '1' (without the quotes) at the end of th4e
folder name, then put enough files into that folder to fill the DVD,
then burn that folder onto the DVD.
Keep doing this, incrementing the '1' each time, until the files are
all copied.
Foolproof.
