Simple question about front panel connector labeling

I'm building my first homebuilt PC and having trouble figuring out the
front panel connectors.

The instructions in the ANTEC SLK3700AMB case manual say the reset
switch connector connects to the motherboard with "the label facing
the front of the case, and for all of the following connectors as
well."

My MSI K7N2G-L motherboard has the front panel connectors oriented
differently, so that the switch label can face up or down, but not
front or back. So the ANTEC instructions don't seem to help here.

Many of the connectors have labels on the back that say "S" with a
small triangle over one of the pins. At first I thought the triangle
signified "ground". But then I thought maybe the "S" means "signal".

The motherboard docs say which pins are ground, so if I knew what the
labels on the connectors meant I'd be in business.

Anyone know the answer?

Thanks.

Ignore the case manual. After all it's irrelevent for most
motherboards. Simply get hold of a front panel connector, see what it's
labelled as and connect it to the motherboard header as required. Just
a tip...on the connectors, the white wire is usually ground. For
speaker, reset and power switches it doesn't matter which way round
they go. It only matters for the HDD an Power LED but even then they'll
only not light up if wrong.

Thank you Conor, that was what I needed to know. In each case where a
white wire exists (most of the cases), the "S" and triangle appears on
the colored wire. So I presume it means "signal" and the unlabeled
white wire is ground.
