Simple OS for web browsing

I have wanted to do this for windows:

It would be good to have a second virus free PC for browsing. I like Windows
Xp but this may be woth a try.

Knoppix is the best Live CD Linux IMHO. http://www.knoppix.net/

No hard drive installation necessary.
