DSL connected to linksys router
4 PC's on linnksys router
I'd like to allow VPN acccess to one of these PC's

i set it up as the VPN server
Shared all but the "C" drive
I disable the wireless connection to the router on one laptop on which I
have created an outbound VPN connection and use dial-up connection for
testing so that we are on different nets.....

I can authenticate and connect, however from there... it's a blur to me....

I thought you looked for computers in your workgroup, then kind of "drilled
down" to the shared drives....
However, when I try that, I get error message that i don;t have permissions
or there is not a list of servers available. darnit, I had this working at
one time, but now, for the life of me, I can;t get it wroking again.

have opened up port 1723 and forwarded it to the VPN host computer
Sharing, permissions and security is set for my user ID on all shared drives
(BTW works fine when I'm locally connected, so I don;t think its a
security/permissions/sharing problem)

Crazy thing is, I can connect and authenticate, but from there, can;t seem
to browse.

Oh, and while we're here- how do I enable Remote desktop connection over
vpn???

Thanks very much for any help you wizards can offer!!
