simple folder copy over tool

Hello all,

We run a daily script basically "xcopy folders from different systems to one
centralized folder on one system" from that system we do our daily backup

My question is there any tool or utility or any other way similar to the
xcopy command "script" that would do the same thing?

What do you expect this tool to do that xcopy won't do?

well, we noteced that xcopy sometimes it would fail with out reporting it or
giving warnnings and we were looking to see if there is other tools that
would do the samething which is just basic copy from a folder to another in
another word sync the folders
 
Robocopy would work in this application you are describing. It is one of the
free tools in the resource kit.
