Simple basic tasks

Why is it - I have the latest best system running Windows Vista but yet the
most basic of functions fail to work. e.g. jus trying to copy a large number
of files from one drive to the next. You select all then copy then paste and
yet NOTHING - No error - nothing - come on now how can you comment on this
OS when even the most basic of functions dont appear to work - any comments
appreciated

Copying files works here. Without more information its hard to
troubleshoot.

I can copy thousands of files at a clip from my hard drives to my external
drive. I back up (copy) every day. My first main copy was over 34 gig and
contained over 700,000 files.

I have no idea of what you are speaking of or what you are doing wrong.
