Silent updates need no be so silent

Great product. VERY fast at scanning and excellent
accuracy.

However the Auto Updates are SILENT! I mean REALLY
SILENT. Could I suggest that there be an easy way to see
that updates are in progress and where they may be up to
during download. (bytes xxx from a total of xxxx)

I have many customers on dialup. Some are simple users
that we have taken great lengths to explain about
background applications doing 'bad' things. Sometimes
the only indication of these can be traffic on the
Internet link when you are not expecting it. To make
matters worse, there is no way to easily show these users
that the activity is actually their AntiSpyware product
doing its update rather than a 'bad' application.

At least with Windows Automatic Updates the user can see
the yellow shield and with a mouse over can see the
percentage downloaded; simple, but at least it's
something.

This is a useful suggestion--thanks! I would expect the update procedure
and behaviours to be somewhat different in beta2, but I'm not sure when
we'll see that to know!
 
I agree with you, dial-user want's to know how many bytes
it is and how long it would take
