signature stopped working

Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6408) SP1. I used a signature which worked great for
months. Recently I edited it by adding my logo on Advanced Edit via Word
editor. Error message said "signature could not be located. This signature
may have been removed". When I start new email, it is blank with no
signature. So i re-did it by getting rid of logo, going back to my original
signature, thereby eliminating need for Advanced Edit, but still no signature
on new message or reply.
 
do you see it listed in the signature dialog?

what is listed in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures?
