Signature problem

This is driving me batty...

New Windows XP machine, Outlook 2003, Exchange Server, Office XP.

For some reason, the signature for new emails is coming out with crazy
paragraph spacing (12pt I think) even though it looks perfect in the design
window.

I'm using HTML format for the emails, and the style is "Normal" or
"Paragraph" depending on which line of the signature I'm on. Both styles
appear to be single spaced when I write the email however. I can't find
where I'd edit the styles.

If I change the email format to Outlook Rich Text, it shows up single
spaced, but in a different font. I don't want to stay with rich text...
anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Thank you!

Sounds like you press Enter between lines of the signature. In HTML, Enter
means <p> (new paragraph). Instead, press Shift-Enter, which produces <br>
(line break), to advance to a new line.
