Signature not inserting/showing in e-mail

Vista PC - using Windows Mail. Signature does not insert with e-mails: new
forward or replies. It will not insert even if the insert signture button is
used. HTML is set in Tools, Options. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
No help I'm afraid. This has just started happening with me too, it used to
work but no more. Help anyone?
 
Try going to Tools - Options - Signatures tab and make sure the "Add
signature to each outgoing email" checkbox is checked. There's also a
checkbox which reads "Don't add signatures to reply / forward" which you
will want to check / UNcheck as appropriate for your use. Also, there you
will find you can have multiple signatures. Once created, you can use the
"Advanced" button to assign each signature to each of your specific email
accounts (if you use more than one email account).
 
Thanks slk759, I did all that and have rechecked that my signature is
associated with my mail account, I re-wrote my html signature and found it
using 'browse', I have told it to automatically insert the signature but it
doesn't. It did work until a few days ago. Also when I write an e-mail and
click inset signature nothing appears.
