No problems downloading. It seemed to take quite a bit
longer this time (about twice as long as usual). Could be
heavy traffic...??
Will keep my eyes open next time.

That may be the case, but AntiSpyware did not succeed in
finding the well known Claria dataminer, as well as the
Claria cookie tracker, both on my PC.
Running AD-Aware, these two things were detected...
Is this a shortcoming of the beta MS Spyware??
I would have expected MS Anti Spyware to detect them!

Microsoft Antispyware doe not scan for cookies in either of the beta builds
distributed so far.

Dataminer is another name for a variety of cookie.

Have you noticed that when the program updates on it own
the message that comes up gives the old information
 
Yes - this is a known bug.
