I have signed up for windows messenger and so far everything appears normal. I have been trying to talk a friend through signing up and he never seems to get the wizard. He tells me he gets a window to click to sign in or to sign in with a different account. How does he create a passport.com Id?

The wizard won't come up if someone has already been through it. He can make a .NET Passport
at http://register.passport.net.
