Sign off

After allowing hibernation once when ever I attempt to sign off the prompt
"Hibernate" always comes up and I have to change it to shut off. It does
not appear to accept that setting and it does shut off. The next time I
start up and then want to shut down the Prompt "Hibernate" shows again. I
did go to Power settings and set it to never shut down. That does not
change any thing.
Any idea?

I would like to correct the next to last line. It should read. I did go to
Power Settings and did select, never Hibernate.
