I went to a folder called "System Volume Information" , I tried to open it and i an "access denied"error message. On my system32 folder, there is a "dllcache" folder .This folder's name is in a blue font and so are all the files in it. Also on my event viewer, one of the warnings i clicked on says this "The driver disabled the write cache on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR3. For more information, see Help and Support Center at ". What does that mean? If any one can tell me if these are signs that my pc has a virus, I would appreciate it very much. And what would you recommend to fix my problem.

You do not have a virus, but I hope you do have a good antivirus
program installed, updated and running!

Dllcache:

Windows File Protection detects attempts by other programs to
replace or move a protected system file. Windows File Protection
checks the file's digital signature to determine if the new file is the
correct Microsoft version. If the file is not the correct version,
Windows File Protection either replaces the file from the backup
stored in the Dllcache. If shown in "blue", this means they are
"compressed" to save disk space....normal.

System Volume Information:

Contains all System Restore files

Caching:

The process of temporarily storing recently used data values in
a special pool in memory for quicker subsequent access.
