max

I just had my computer crash on me and had to replace my
motherboard and format my hard drives. Now I am trying
to re-load xp on the computer and basicly start from
scratch. I use the s start up disks and as it starts to
load I get a message that the .sif file is missing or
courupt. also something about value of 0 for SPI.cab if
anyone can help me it would be great!

Apparently, you downloaded the incorrect set of setup disks.

Make sure you download the correct set of disks. If SP1 is included with
your Windows XP CD, download the setup disks for use with SP1.
