I need to use AIRCARD 775 with Windows XP Embedded, but
I did'nt find any driver (with .inf included) to build an embedded module
and I can't use the msi file that SierraWireless distribute.
My company develops car kits based on pc with XPEmbedded,
touch screen, gps, various hardware control, and internet with Aircard.
Please I really need help. Could someone tell me how to find
a XPE ready driver or a classical driver set (with .inf)?

Hi Francesco,
I don't know if anyone has already componentized it, but when you install
the product onto XP-Pro, does it copy an INF to the .\windows\inf folder?

Have you tried to componentize it by monitoring the files and registry keys
that are installed to XP-Pro then adding that information to a component and
repository. If you decide to go down that route, here's a step by step guide
on how you might do it: http://blogs.msdn.com/embedded/articles/460335.aspx

Hi Andy,
thank you for your answer, today I've recived the driver from
SierraWireless, and I have to componentize it (actually I don't know if it
works). However I think that your article could be very usefull in future.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas

Thank you for your answer,
now I can see modem installed and working in com5 but
when I try to query the diagnostic or directly com5, it doesn't work.
It's very frustrating...
