Sidwinder force feedbackpro software for win xp

dear sir,
I can not find software at
www.microsoft.com /sindwinder/ for my sindwinder force
feedback pro that is compatable with windows xp, or is
this joystick compleatly noncompatable with win xp
 
Software for game port controllers cannot be installed on Windows XP because
the vxd format in which they're written is obsolete. Plug the device in,
then go into Control Panel/Game Controllers and "Add" the Microsoft
SideWinder (auto detect). Windows XP will install the proper drivers. You
need to rely on in-game Options to be able to program the buttons, though.
