is there any way that i can run the force feedback wheel
on an windows xp operating system. the original wheel was
purchased when 98 was most recent??
 
Connect the wheel to the PC, go to the Control Panel and click on Game
Controllers. Use the AutoDetect feature and XP will install its own built
in drivers.

And if that does not work, make sure DirectX is up-to-
date. The current version is 9.0b. WindowsUpdate will
check that DirectX is current.

Earlier versions of XP had trouble with force-feedback,
but this appears to be solved.

If you "run" DXDIAG.EXE and look under the input tab, you
should see your steering wheel with the right properties
listed.
