Nick

I recently bought a Sideminder Precsion 2, and my computer
and/or Windows XP Professional will not recognize that it
is connected. All my other USB devices work fine, but when
I plug this into the port, it acts as if nothing is
connected. Tried to add the hardware manually but it
states that my Gameport or Gameport Drivers are not
configered properly. I have contacted the Microsoft Help
line but they could not assist me. Checked the USB ports
and they are working properly. On another computer the
device works fine, but the operating system is XP Home
edition. Please help me get it to work with XP
Profesional.

When this device is correctly installed there are actually 3 devices that
are supposed to be listed. Two of them with identicle or nearly identicle
names and the Virtual Keyboard. This is normal. There are no updates for the
drivers because the newest drivers are already built into the OS. The
manually adding devices in the Contol panel is only for gameport devices,
not USB. The system cannot discover gameport devices like USB. Can you post
a dxdiag report of your system? It may help me determine why your device
isn't working correctly.

Thanks.
