I have a gamepad purchased when I had Windows 95/98. I
have since upgraded to XP and the gamepad software will
not load. Is there a fix / download to make this device
work with XP or is the solution to bin it and start again?
 
The game pad software may never be made to support XP or greater. MS has
discontinued their game hardware section.
 
The 3.x sidewinder software will not work in Windows XP.

The controller should work though
Goto the Game Controller Control Panel
Then Add, Microsoft Sidewinder (auto-detect)...
