Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro

Windows XP is saying that i cannot install the software
for the force feedback pro. Is there a software update
for this. Or is the joystick unusable with Windows XP
 
The 3.x sidewinder software will not work in Windows XP.

The controller should work though
Goto the Game Controller Control Panel
Then Add, Microsoft Sidewinder (auto-detect)...
