Does anyone know how I connect a force feed back pro
joystic with its seven pin connection to a laptop usb port.
The port is o part of a Sony Vaio laptop And I have been
advised that I need a usb game port. However I am having
difficulty locating one of these devices So if anyone has
any experience in this area could you offerany advice.
Thankyou

I do no believe that there was ever a seven pin gameport. The standard
gameport connector is DB15 (15 pins max). I know that Radio Shack was
selling a USB to Gameport convertor.

Please take note: If your joystick connects to a gameport, you can/should
never use the included software that came with the joystick. It does not
work with XP and there will not be any upgrades done to the software. You
must use the included drivers that came with XP and the games must have
their own setting/controls for the forcefeedback. MS is "killing off" the
gameport port and will not update any drivers for it.
