I've had a program installed for several versions of internet explorer that
shows search results in a sidebar on the left. The sidebar shows perhaps 10
search pages (Google) at a time and you could click on one of the results
and see the resulting webpage on the right side of the screen while the
sidebar remained. I found this more helpful than having the search results
occupy the entire screen and then having to go back and forth.
Today I installed IE 7 beta which works fine except that it took away the
sidebar mentioned above. As I recall, this has happened in the past when I
upgraded IE. I was always able to reinstall this little program to once
again have the search sidebar.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the little program that does
this; while I have searched my computer dilligently for the program, I
cannot find it. Does anyone know what the program is called?
Thanks for any help.
