Bec

I recently had to replace my hard drive in my Lenovo 3000 C200 laptop which
is running Windows Vista Home Basic. I did a full back up of my system using
ThinkVantage rescue and Recovery and restored it on the new hard drive. Only
problem is, for some reason my sidebar now refuses to work, I keep getting
the 'Windows Sidebar has stopped working' message.

I haven't installed any new programs since restoring the system. Does anyone
have any ideas on what I could do to fix this problem?

Hi Brink

Thanks for the advice, it's a good thread - unfortunately, it didn't work
but, it's still crashing.

I found a log in my events window:
