Sidebar does not update weather since I changed the date

When I installed Vista my date was set at February 25th. I changed it to the
current date (The 5th then) and my weather/news feed just stopped updating!
I believe it is saying these updates are older than the 25th, so I will just
not update it until I get a newer one (Perhaps a date is tagged to when they
were downloaded.). Is there anyway to fix this except waiting?

On further tests, I bumped my date past the 25th, and it updated. So here is
my question, how do I delete what it knows? *Uninstalling the gadget and
reinstalling it does not work*

Have you tried changing to another location, then changing back to your real
one?

Did you reset the weather gadget? By reset I mean - turn off and then add
it back. Might work as it does with Notes: current notes are removed when
you close the gadget/ current weather settings are discarded. Or you could
try changing locations and then changing back to your location?

I use the newsfeed gadget too. It always updates when the computer is
rebooted. It is slow to update if the computer is on for a few days in a
row. Keep looking for a "refresh" setting in its Options menu but there
isn't one. I look forward to a refresh being added. Either one - an
automatic refresh or as a setting - would be appreciated.
