Sidebar Background

My sidebar background recently changed to opaque (solid gray). How do I
reset it to transparent? System restore did not work.

Hi,

Did you check Display Properties/Themes to make sure you are still using a
Vista theme and not classic or otherwise.

Thanks, that did it. I used Safe Mode recently. Looks like it changed
display to classic.
