Side by Side Viewing

How can I view my calendar side by side with a calendar in my public folders?
I am curious if it can be viewed the same way another users shared calendar
can be viewed side by side with mine.
I tried going to 'Open a shared calendar'then browsing to the public
folders, but nothing there to select.

Any ideas?

Add your public folder to your favorites and then it should be available to
view side by side.
