Using Access 2003.

Is it possible to records in a form display side by side.

I know I can print them like this but I just want to display them.

On a detail line I want to show an account number and then the account name.
This takes less than half the width of the form. I'd like to list the
second account and name next ot the first on on the same line, i.e.,

Acct Nbr Acct Name 2nd Acct Nbr 2nd Acct Name
3rd Acct Nbr 3rd Acct Name 4th Acct Nbr 4th Acct Name.

Can this be done?

Any help appreciated.

The only way that may be possible is to use 2 subforms with ahalf of the
records displayed on each. Doing that may make it impossible to edit either,
without enabling and disabling at least one of the 2.

Or base the form on a query returning every 'odd' record and functions
returning the required values of every even record.

However, I wonder, as you probably do, why anyone would want to
'distort' the normal functionality of a continuous form this way.
