The Active Directory Administration Tool that is available on the Windows
Server CD through installation of the support tools from directory SUPPORT
can be used to verify the SID. To get the view as shown here, follow these
steps:

1.
Open Ldp.exe through Windows 2000 Support Tools/Tools/Active Directory
Administration Tool.

2.
On the Connection menu, select Connect and click OK.

3.
On the Connection menu, select Bind and click OK.

4.
On the View menu, select Tree

Check out adfind. www.joeware.net on the free win32 tools page. You simply do

adfind -gc -b -f name=username objectsid

and it will dump the info:
