I have a small network, Windows 2k Server running AD and DNS and two XP Pro
clients.
Both login to the AD fine but when I look at any of the security settings of
a folder on the XP boxes I see the SID instead of the AD group.
If I click Add in the attempt of adding a new AD group, I do not even get
the option of opening AD and only get the option of seeing the local
security group etc.
I am guessing that DNS is not working but have no idea how to test it as it
auto installed when installing AD, it did work fine at first but now it
doesn't.
All machine are fully patched.
Any ideas?
